Six Fruits That Are Low in Sugar and Excellent for Diets

Eat berries for breakfast with Greek yogurt or oatmeal or have them as in-between snacks. You can even add a few berries in your vegetable smoothies, for tastier smoothie.

Avocados

Avocado is a fruit rich in nutrients and with a low fructose content which is why it can be consumed daily, even by people who are on a diet. The healthy fats that are found in the avocado fruit will lower your bad cholesterol levels and keep your blood pressure steady.

Grapefruits

One of the fruits with the lowest fructose content, the grapefruit can be eaten at any time during your diet. In fact, it is recommended to eat half a grapefruit before every meals and studies have shown that people who have followed this little trick have lost more weight than usual. Consider other fruits from the same family such as lemons and limes.

Strawberries

Yes, the delicious strawberries are among the fruits that are low in sugar. Have strawberries for breakfast, add them in your salad or in your vegetable smoothies for a much more delicious taste.

Tomatoes

As you probably know by now, tomatoes, although considered vegetables by many, are in fact fruits, and are great for your diet. With their low content of fructose, can be used in salads or eaten as they are and have important health benefits, especially due to their lycopene content.

Papaya

The delicious papaya fruit is low in sugar, high in vitamin C and antioxidants and can be a great ally for any diet, whether we are talking about a detoxing diet or a regular weight loss diet. The papaya fruit also contains a lot of fiber, which is good for your digestion and can also help your body release the sugar into your blood faster than usual.
